eSolar Advantage Worldwide electricity consumption is projected to double by the year 2040. This demand represents an unprecedented opportunity for building clean, renewable power generation.

Our Advantage
eSolar offers clean, carbon-free, peak power production.
Covering 1 percent of the Sahara Desert with eSolar power plants would provide enough electricity to power the entire world.

Pre-fabricated: Changing the Economics of Solar
eSolar™ heliostats minimize a variety of costs. By leveraging established commercial suppliers to mass manufacture thousands of heliostats, eSolar realizes economy-of-scale benefits at much smaller power plant sizes than traditional solar generation technologies. We designed the heliostats for pre-assembly at the factory and to fit efficiently into shipping containers to reduce transportation costs and on-site labor. These design and manufacturing efficiencies result in astonishing construction times, which allow for significant savings in assembly and operating costs.
Rapid Deployment
eSolar has designed a new solar field layout to minimize installation time and cost. By employing a repeating structure and a revolutionary calibration system, eSolar has eliminated the need for high-precision surveying, delicate installation, and individual alignment of mirrors. Minimal skilled labor is needed to build the solar field, allowing for mirror deployment efficiencies that scale with project size and deadlines. From permitting to construction, plants come on line quickly to meet customer needs.
Unlimited Scalability
eSolar's modular power plant architecture revolves around a tiered delivery model that minimizes supply constraints. eSolar™ power plants are built in units as small as 46 MW, with each unit consisting of sixteen modules of thermal receivers and dual north-south heliostat fields. These 46 MW units can be replicated as necessary to fit specific power requirements, constructed either in series to continuously meet long term energy goals or in parallel to deliver large amounts of solar energy quickly.
