As Vice President of Mechanical Systems, Mr. Ricardo Schiesser oversees product development from concept to production, including heliostats and mechanical systems. With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Schiesser combines solid technical knowledge and project management experience at the multinational level. Most recently, he directed the development of materials handling equipment and logistics automation solutions at Siemens, accruing an impressive portfolio of 19 issued patents. Prior to that, Mr. Schiesser oversaw R&D of defense equipment. Mr. Schiesser holds a BSME degree from Escola Politécnica at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil and has taken graduate classes in Business Administration (FGV-SP) and in Manufacturing Management (GMI-Flint).
